Anyone will tell you that there's only one thing worse than seeing some male or female in a bikini or thong with pubic hairs hanging out all over the place - And that's seeing bikini lines that are swollen, red and scabby. Not a good look, on anyone, anywhere, any time. So we all need to know how to shave our bikini lines for that smooth look and feel. That's supposed to be why we're shaving our bikini lines in the first place, right? Right.
The following information is offered to help:
1) The pubic area can become very sensitive for many females during the peak of their menstrual cycle, so if you're a female, shave your bikini lines outside of this peak time.
2) Friction, especially friction immediately after shaving, is a major contributor to skin irritations especially at bikini lines. It's best if you can shave your bikini lines late in the day when you can wear loose clothing, (or nothing at all).
But if you must shave your bikini lines at the start of the day, allow at least a half an hour before you start shaving. This will allow the fluids built up under your skin to subside and your skin to become more taut to better expose the hair shafts for getting that close shave. Allowing this time also insures that you are fully awake and alert before you shave your bikini lines.
3) Never shave your bikini lines, "under the influence".
4) Trim any long hairs with scissors or a hair trimmer. These long hairs will only dull your razor's blade, which is the last thing you want. You'll also be able to see where to shave your bikini lines better, which is the first thing you want.
5) Take a shower or soak in a bath to help open the follicles, (the skin depressions from which the hair grows), and relax stiff, coarse pubic hairs.
6) Standing in the tub or shower with one leg hiked up on something that is not slippery and will support your weight is the best position to shave bikini lines.
7) Apply a rich lubricant. Allow this to sit on your hair and skin for several minutes to get the maximum effect before you start to shave your bikini lines.
8) Make sure you ALWAYS have a clean, new blade in your razor EVERY TIME you start to shave your bikini lines. A dull blade will only pull and tear the hairs, which is what creates swollen, red rashes and, worse, ingrown hairs.
9) Beginning at the the back, start to shave your bikini lines in the direction the hair grows on the side and then up to the front first. Then you can shave against the hair growth to get that 'smooth' look and feel you're after.
10) Try not to apply too much pressure and don't shave your bikini lines in any one area repeatedly. These actions will not give you a closer, smoother shave. In fact, they're a major cause of swollen, red and scabby skin.
Now you have most of the latest information available to know how to shave your bikini lines for that smooth look and feel.

Male genital hair removal is no longer limited to stars in porno flicks. You might be surprised just how many everyday males are removing their genital hair. Take a look around the locker room next time you're at the gym.
Doctors report that male genital hair removal is being done by a large number of their clients who may have initially learned about it because of a surgical procedure and found they liked it, but also by males who have not had to remove their genital hair due to surgery.
These doctors also say that male genital hair removal is not being done just by young, single males. They're seeing this trend among older, involved or married males as well. Which throws out the theory that male genital hair removal is only important to males out and about in the singles' scene. It's obvious males in general are wanting to experience the benefits of removing their genital hair.
And benefits is what male genital hair removal is all about.
Aside from reasons already stated at the beginning of this page, if you ask a male why he's into genital hair removal, the first thing he'll tell you is that the main benefit is that it makes him feel cleaner and fresher. And when he believes he's as clean and neat as he can be, it helps him feel more confident about himself and that he'll make a good first impression when his private, personal, "package" is exposed.
And it's well documented that a major benefit is that a male practicing genital hair removal makes him a better lover because as he has a more positive self image, especially when it comes to his genitals, he's going to want to interact on an intimate basis more often.
Speaking of intimate interactions ... Male genital hair removal makes it much easier to put on and remove condoms. No more hair pulling. That's a big benefit.
But also, partners of a male doing genital hair removal state that particular benefits for them are that they don't have to deal with pushing through a damp, hairy, sometimes malodorous jungle to get close to their male or be concerned with getting hairs in their mouth anymore. Yea!!!
Finally, the number one favorite benefit of male genital hair removal is that it gives his genitals at least the appearance of being bigger. And again this can be a boost to his overall self confidence.

Shaving facial hair with a wet razor is NOT to even be considered by females. These hairs grow back very quickly and appear thicker. There are several other forms of facial hair removal much more suitable.
Facial hair most often appears on females first during puberty, but it's almost always very fine and light. It isn't until after the age of thirty five that it gets darker and coarser. If facial hair begins to make her feel self conscious, then facial hair removal becomes an important issue for females.
Female facial hair most often appears over the lip and on the chin, but many females have a wealth of unwanted hair on their jaw, cheeks and neck. Fortunately, there are a number of facial hair removal methods to help.
All females need to consult with a physician to determine the underlying cause of their hair growth before deciding on a facial hair removal method.
For some females, pregnancy or nursing can increase facial hair. Any facial hair removal methods that involve energy, chemicals or drugs really shouldn't be used during these conditions.
For some females, a high level of androgen, a steroid hormone that controls the development and maintenance of masculine characteristics, can be creating facial hair. Prescription oral medications from a medical specialist is the best facial hair removal method in this case.
There are topical creams, available only by prescription, that inhibit the growth of new hairs. But the latest research reports that only about half of the females who have used these have found them to be a worthwhile facial hair removal method.
Some females have used facial hair removal creams or lotions. Unfortunately, many get pimples in reaction to the chemicals.
Waxing is considered by many females to be a clean, fast and easy facial hair removal method. It can remove facial hair for up to 6 weeks. But, many females experience an unpleasant rash that lasts for quite a while in reaction to the hairs being literally yanked out.
Electrolysis is a most unpleasant form of facial hair removal because it involves inserting a needle into the follicle, the depression from which the hair emerges, of each individual hair. Understandably, this causes swelling, redness, some scabbing, and even scarring. Electrolysis requires using a topical anesthetic. But many females have it done.
Facial hair removal by electrolysis is expensive. Usually, it needs to be done regularly on a weekly or monthly basis, for 1 or 2 years to achieve final results at a rate of $25 to $100 per hour.
Hundreds of scientific articles have been published in medical literature stating that facial hair removal by electrolysis is permanent, but - There's also scientific evidence that regrowth does occur when a new root cell is formed in the same area.
The latest facial hair removal method females are using is laser hair removal. This process involves a focused beam of laser light being absorbed by the melanin, pigment, in dark hair, to damage or disable the follicle and at least slow down the growth of the hair.
While laser facial hair removal is not as painful as electrolysis, do speak with the attending physician about using a topical anesthetic.
Laser facial hair removal is capable of affecting hundreds of hair follicles at one time, making it a much quicker process than electrolysis. Usually, only 2 to 4 treatments are needed to effectively remove hair.
There are reports of laser hair removal treatments eliminating thirty to forty percent of facial hair for as long as a year - But, at least here in the United States, it's illegal to claim laser facial hair removal is permanent.
Tweezing is probably the facial hair removal method most often used by females. And while it's okay to use tweezers for eyebrows, it really isn't okay for other female facial hair. It's painful, time consuming, (usually needing to be done on a daily basis), and over time, tweezing can damage the skin.

Celexa is used to treat major depression--a stubbornly low mood that persists nearly every day for at least 2 weeks and interferes with everyday living. Symptoms may include loss of interest in your usual activities, insomnia or excessive sleeping, a change in weight or appetite, constant fidgeting or a slowdown in movement, fatigue, feelings of worthlessness or guilt, difficulty thinking or concentrating, and repeated thoughts of suicide.
Celexa Dosage
* The recommended starting dose of Celexa tablets or oral solution is 20 milligrams once a day. Dosage is usually increased to 40 milligrams once daily after at least a week has passed. Do not exceed 40 milligrams a day.
* For older adults and those who have liver problems, the recommended dose is 20 milligrams once a day.
Uses of Celexa
* Celexa is used to treat patients with major depressive disorder. It is not for use in patients with bipolar (manic depressive) disorder as it can exacerbate mania or cause a rapid swing from the depressive to the manic phase.
* Celexa is also used to treat obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), though it is not FDA approved for this diagnosis.
* Celexa is used to treat depression.
Side Effects of Celexa
Side effects cannot be anticipated. If any develop or change in intensity, inform your doctor as soon as possible. Only your doctor can determine if it is safe for you to continue taking Celexa. Side effects may include:
* Abdominal pain, agitation, anxiety, diarrhea, drowsiness, dry mouth, ejaculation disorders, fatigue, impotence, indigestion, insomnia, loss of appetite, nausea, painful menstruation, respiratory tract infection, sinus or nasal inflammation, sweating, tremor, vomiting .
Warnings and precautions before taking Celexa:
* In clinical studies, antidepressants increased the risk of suicidal thinking and behavior in children and adolescents with depression and other psychiatric disorders. Anyone considering the use of Celexa or any other antidepressant in a child or adolescent must balance this risk with the clinical need. Celexa has not been studied in children or adolescents and is not approved for treating anyone less than 18 years old.
* Additionally, the progression of major depression is associated with a worsening of symptoms and/or the emergence of suicidal thinking or behavior in both adults and children, whether or not they are taking antidepressants. Individuals being treated with Celexa and their caregivers should watch for any change in symptoms or any new symptoms that appear suddenly--especially agitation, anxiety, hostility, panic, restlessness, extreme hyperactivity, and suicidal thinking or behavior--and report them to the doctor immediately. Be especially observant at the beginning of treatment or whenever there is a change in dose.
* Use Celexa with caution if you suffer from manic-depression (bipolar disorder). Use caution, too, if you are over 60 years old, have liver or kidney problems, suffer from heart disease or high blood pressure, or have ever had seizures.
* Celexa can cause drowsiness or trouble thinking in some people. Patients should not drive or operate heavy machinery until they know that Celexa does not affect their ability to safely engage in these activities.
Drug Interaction :- If Celexa is taken with certain other drugs, the effects of either could be increased, decreased, or altered. Tell your doctor about any prescription or over-the-counter drugs you are planning to take, and be especially certain to check with him before combining Celexa with the following:

ELDEPRYL (selegiline hydrochloride) is a levorotatory acetylenic derivative of phenethylamine. It is commonly referred to in the clinical and pharmacological literature as l-deprenyl. Eldepryl is prescribed along with Sinemet (levodopa/carbidopa) for people with Parkinson's disease. It is used when Sinemet no longer seems to be working well. Eldepryl has no effect when taken by itself; it works only in combination with Larodopa (levodopa) or Sinemet.
Parkinson's disease, which causes muscle rigidity and difficulty with walking and talking, involves the progressive degeneration of a particular type of nerve cell. Early on, Larodopa or Sinemet alone may alleviate the symptoms of the disease. In time, however, these medications work less well; their effectiveness seems to switch on and off at random, and the individual may begin to experience side effects such as involuntary movements and "freezing" in mid-motion.
Eldepryl may be prescribed at this stage of the disease to help restore the effectiveness of Larodopa or Sinemet. When you begin to take Eldepryl, you may need a reduced dosage of the other medication.
Eldepryl Dosage
* The recommended dose of Eldepryl is 10 milligrams per day divided into 2 smaller doses of 5 milligrams each, taken at breakfast and lunch. There is no evidence of additional benefit from higher doses, and they increase the risk of side effects.
Uses of Eldepryl
* Eldepryl is used together with other medicines to treat symptoms of Parkinson's disease, such as stiffness, tremors, muscle spasms, and poor muscle control.
* Eldepryl oral is also used to treat similar muscle symptoms when they are caused by certain medicines, including chlorpromazine (Thorazine), fluphenazine (Prolixin), perphenazine (Trilafon), and others.
* Eldepryl may also be used for purposes other than those listed in this medication guide.
Side Effects of Eldepryl
Side effects cannot be anticipated. If any develop or change in intensity, inform your doctor as soon as possible. Only your doctor can determine if it is safe for you to continue taking Eldepryl. Side effects may include:
* Abdominal pain, confusion, dizziness, dry mouth, fainting, hallucinations, nausea, lightheadedness
Warnings and precautions before taking Eldepryl:
* Never take Eldepryl at a higher dosage than prescribed; doing so could put you at risk for a dangerous rise in blood pressure. If you develop a severe headache or any other unusual symptoms, contact your doctor immediately.
* You may suffer a severe reaction if you combine Eldepryl with tricyclic antidepressants such as Elavil and Tofranil, or with antidepressants that affect serotonin levels, such as Prozac and Paxil. Wait at least 14 days after taking Eldepryl before beginning therapy with any of these drugs. If you have been taking antidepressants such as Prozac and Paxil, you should wait at least 5 weeks before taking Eldepryl. This much time is needed to clear the antidepressant completely from your system.
* You should not suddenly stop taking this medicine unless your doctor tells you otherwise.
Drug Interaction :- If Eldepryl is taken with certain other drugs, the effects of either could be increased, decreased, or altered. It is especially important to check with your doctor before combining Eldepryl with the following:
* Antidepressant medications that raise serotonin levels, such as Paxil, Prozac, and Zoloft
* Antidepressant medications classified as tricyclics, such as Elavil and Tofranil
* Narcotic painkillers such as Demerol, Percocet, and Tylenol with Codeine
Overdose
Although no specific information is available about Eldepryl overdosage, it is assumed, because of chemical similarities, that the symptoms would resemble those of overdose with an MAO inhibitor antidepressant. Symptoms of MAO inhibitor overdose may include:
* Agitation, chest pain, clammy skin, coma, convulsions, dizziness, drowsiness, extremely high fever, faintness, fast and irregular pulse, hallucinations, headache (severe), high blood pressure, hyperactivity, inability to breathe, irritability, lockjaw, low blood pressure (severe), shallow breathing, spasm of the entire body, sweating.

Valium (diazepam) is an anti-anxiety agent (benzodiazepine) used primarily for short-term relief of mild to moderate anxiety and the associated nervousness and tension. It may also be used to treat symptoms of acute alcohol withdrawal, to help control epilepsy or to relieve muscle spasms. Valium (diazepam) affects chemicals in the brain that may become unbalanced and cause anxiety, seizures and muscle spasms. Valium (diazepam) may also be used for other purposes. Diazepam is a member of the benzodiazepine family. Benzodiazepines are sedatives that cause dose-related depression of the central nervous system. They are useful in treating anxiety, insomnia, seizures, and muscle spasms.
Valium Dosage
* The usual dose, depending upon severity of symptoms, is 2 milligrams to 10 milligrams 2 to 4 times daily.
Your doctor will limit the dosage to the smallest effective amount because older people are more apt to become oversedated or uncoordinated.
Uses of Valium
* Valium is used in the treatment of anxiety disorders and for short-term relief of the symptoms of anxiety. It belongs to a class of drugs known as benzodiazepines.
* It is also used to relieve the symptoms of acute alcohol withdrawal, to relax muscles, to relieve the uncontrolled muscle movements caused by cerebral palsy and paralysis of the lower body and limbs, to control involuntary movement of the hands (athetosis), to relax tight, aching muscles, and, along with other medications, to treat convulsive disorders such as epilepsy.
* Valium (diazepam) is used to relieve anxiety, nervousness, and tension associated with anxiety disorders. It is also used to treat certain types of seizure disorders and muscle spasms.
* Valium (diazepam) may also be used for purposes other than those listed in this medication guide.
Side Effects of Valium
Side effects cannot be anticipated. If any develop or change in intensity, inform your doctor as soon as possible. Only your doctor can determine if it is safe for you to continue taking Valium. Side effects may include:
* Anxiety
* drowsiness
* fatigue
* light-headedness
* loss of muscle coordination
* Abdominal and muscle cramps
* convulsions
* sweating
* tremors
* vomiting
Warnings and precautions before taking Valium:
* Valium may cause you to become drowsy or less alert; therefore, you should not drive or operate dangerous machinery or participate in any hazardous activity that requires full mental alertness until you know how Valium affects you.
* If you have liver or kidney problems, use Valium cautiously.
* Since an increase in cough reflex and laryngospasm may occur with peroral endoscopic procedures, the use of a topical anesthetic agent and the availability of necessary countermeasures are recommended.
* Avoid alcohol while taking valium. Alcohol may increase drowsiness and dizziness caused by Valium.
Drug Interaction :- If Valium is taken with certain other drugs, the effects of either could be increased, decreased, or altered. It is especially important to check with your doctor before combining Valium with any of the following:
